Counting the number of homes sold in Salt Lake is just a good way of knowing the statistics in the real estate market. Last month, the number of home sales had increased after January's sales this year. According to MLS listings, it showed off that around 182 homes were sold out. 

Home buying and selling has been very productive for the month of February in Salt Lake wherein its  home sale numbers were a little bit comparable from February 2008 sales performance. Around 181 homes were sold during February 2008 which gave in to a little discrepancy compared to the sales in the same month of 2009. 

Its year over year change of home sales went down to 5.21 percent this year. The original list price was $219,450 with a median price at $199,250. There were 2,144 active listings of homes for sale in Salt Lake and around 270 properties were under contract.

This year, several Realtors expect the market to rise from the number of home sales each month as the season of spring is coming. They are anticipating the ongoing tax credit law which  will be more likely to contribute to the increasing numbers of home sales in Salt Lake City real estate market.

Utah Real Estate will more likely to flourish this year as trends will strongly get better and brighter in the market.
